Ir-Realta' is an underground-ish bi-lingual (maltese and english) newspaper which was started by some guys i know.. it's distributed for free in the maltese university (aka shithole) campus and some high schools/6th forms.
i was asked to design all the paper for them and i wholeheartedly agreed. initiatives like these get me drooling.

this is the front page of the second issue of the paper. the first issue was not designed by me, looked outright crap and was issued last year.
anywayz, i had the idea of dedicating the front solely for a socially concious quote and artwork which relates to the quote. in this case, the 'editor' (lol) chose this quote by john lennon. the maltese university is full of people who are so shallow and trivial that the concept of this cover will probably pass them by. but i tried.

excellent. there should be more zines like this. is the rest of it as well designed? would love to see more spreads and help out if need be. cheers mate.

thankx.. well heh it is designed in a similar way and i'm happy with it. Thanks for offering help, but unfortunately we are currently working on its' last issue. Some other people might continue it but i won't be helping out
